Reach Your Goal (RYG) training was set up up by personal trainers Gemma Ridley & Jermaine Kelly who, after 15 years in the industry in London, moved to Chichester. RYG Women, run by Gemma, offers personal training specifically catering to women’s training. She is passionate about helping women on their health and fitness journeys and determined that sessions are completed with a smile. Sessions are tailor-made and can be in the comfort of your own home, the great outdoors, Grit Gym in Chichester or a space in Fishbourne.

Whether it’s General Fitness –  sports specific training, losing weight, shaping up, blasting your cardio, boosting self-confidence, stress relief, or you need some help with Post Natal rehabilitation, including Diastasis Recti healing & mild pelvic floor dysfunction (‘sneeze and pee’ may be common but it is Not normal!) Gemma will help you Reach Your Goal.

In an ideal world I'd do baby changing standing height. However lack of viable surfaces means I'm old school - floor is the best surface we got ;-) It's so important to remember posture for however many times a day I'm up and down changing the little guy.
The 1st & 3rd set down stand up are me really concentrating on my body keeping my back in good alignment. The second is me being tired & slouchy - how easy it is for posture to slip to bad...(apart from my back gave me an instant niggle to remind me of what I was doing wrong!). Note on the good posture stands I take a second to inhale before I stand up - as I stand I then exhale whilst working my pelvic floor. This is integral for regaining pelvic floor strength & ability - but more than this after a traumatic birth has been integral for me simply standing up without incident. It also ensures I'm not adding too much pressure to my abdominals working pelvic floor into core contraction.
