Reach Your Goal (RYG) training was set up up by personal trainers Gemma Ridley & Jermaine Kelly who, after 15 years in the industry in London, moved to Chichester. RYG Women, run by Gemma, offers personal training specifically catering to women’s training. She is passionate about helping women on their health and fitness journeys and determined that sessions are completed with a smile. Sessions are tailor-made and can be in the comfort of your own home, the great outdoors, Grit Gym in Chichester or a space in Fishbourne.

Whether it’s General Fitness –  sports specific training, losing weight, shaping up, blasting your cardio, boosting self-confidence, stress relief, or you need some help with Post Natal rehabilitation, including Diastasis Recti healing & mild pelvic floor dysfunction (‘sneeze and pee’ may be common but it is Not normal!) Gemma will help you Reach Your Goal.

Tumeric quinoa salad from leftovers. Just what I needed today.

*1 tbsp sesame oil heated with 1 tsp tumeric, 1 tsp cumin, 1/2 tsp smoked paprika & 1 chopped onion
*Added 1 chopped sweet potato, 1 cup quinoa, 1.5 cups of water;
*Bring to boil and simmer 15 mins;
*Stir in black beans and leave to heat through 5 mins.

This was Really nice - I usually use stock but trying new tastes and the spices worked well to flavour the quinoa.

Today I added sweetcorn, avocado, olives & sundried tomato to make it into an exceptionally tasty, high protein salad 👊

Whilst the baby's smiling he's gonna be doubling up as my weights circuit. Works out well given how hard it is to get a spare hour get to the gym!!

Winter warmer - roasted veg with split red lentils. .

The lentils I cooked with 1/2 tsp turmeric which I've never done before - def recommend:-)

Roasted squash, courgette, peppers & onion with the squash seeds and dried parsley, coriander & basil. Added some pecans the last 10 mins of roasting which worked brilliantly.

Filling, tasty, nutrient dense dinner = perfect!

Using baby as weight for the greater good of my strength - day 2 ;-) He's enjoying this - as am I. My legs are aching after yesterday which is an amazing feeling - now my body is ready for it I'm loving the extra weight.
He's growing so fast I have to train hard to keep up 🤣 Peps wanted some involvement too - tho she changed her mind after one set!

4 over of each made 1 set - side lunge with baby bounce; side lunge with baby hold; bridge with baby weight; bridge with overhead baby. I did 5 sets that was enough with my aching legs!!

That wonderful point in time where I'm now fully recovered from birth and finally able to use baby as part of my functional training 😀

He loved this so much it spurred me on to do more! Twice over = 1 set. I ended up doing 4 sets = Burning quads 🤣
